Quire 3 contains folios 17 through 24. The gathering mark is on f24v.

Simple plant, has eyes in roots.

Three or four paras of text. Extraneous writing near top of page, once (but no longer) believed to be a reference to the herbal of Pier Andrea Mattioli:

Plant with berries or currants. Root with hairy bulbs. Somewhat similar to the plant on fol. 96v and the bottom plant on fol. 99r
