Voynich MS - Quire 2

Description

Quire 2 is a standard quire containing folios 9 through 16. The gathering mark is on f16v. Folio 12 is missing.

Other information

This is one of the most recognisable plants in the MS, and seems to represent some type of pansy or 'viola'. Even the colours are realistic. The flowers have been drawn 'upside down'.
